As we look forward to the removal of the COVID-19 restrictions we would like to inform you of what we hope to achieve before the reopening of Slater Street in September 2021.

Currently we are planning to open Slater Street on Monday 6th September 2021, with the first league matches to be played on Sunday 26th September 2021. This may be subject to change. The opening times are currently stil to be confirmed.

All league entries received for the 2020/2021 season have been rolled over to the upcoming season. Any further entries will be accepted up until Monday 2nd August 2021.

The restaurant is currently open on Wednesdays between 12pm and 2pm for lunches and hot drinks. There is also the Sunday Carveries every week.
Tables must be booked in advance. All COVID-19 guidelines must be followed.

The Bowls Shop at Slater Street is still open to take your orders. We do have a range of products in stock for you to buy.

LIBC GOLF DAY – 19^th SEPTEMBER 2021

The Club charity for 2021 is the East Midlands Counties Air Ambulance Service. Rather than raise funds by holding weekly raffles, we have decided to organise a Golf Day at Kilworth Springs Golf Club, which will take place on Sunday, 19^th September.

Entries are invited from individuals and / or teams at a cost of £40 per person, which includes a bacon roll and coffee / tea prior to the round, a full round of golf, and a barbecue or similar meal (depends on the weather) after the game.

Forms can be obtained from Tom or by downloading from the club’s website and returned by post or email together with a deposit of £10 per person.

MONTHLY SALES EVENTS

It has become obvious over the last few years that a number of members have many talents in arts and crafts and we are looking to make the Conference Room available once a month for anyone who would wish to sell, or take orders for their goods. The price for a stall will be £5. To gauge whether this would be worthwhile, anyone interested should contact Tom.

Renovations at Slater Street

During the next few months until re-opening we are planning to do some major improvements at Slater Street. Details on these projects are below.
The club will look to recover these costs by imposing a £1 per head levy on any external events held at the club. This may be the Sunday Carveries, any parties booked at Slater Street, Outdoor Bowling Club Presentations etc.

This levy will be included in all future prices quoted by Slater Street.

Restaurant

The Restaurant area will be updated with new décor and new blinds surrounding the windows.
Don't worry this will not impede the view from the restaurant of the green and any matches that may be held.

Car Park

The car park area has been slowly deteriorating over the past few seasons. We will be re-surfacing and re-lining the car park before the season begins.
New parking signs will be introduced to help us control who is parking at Slater Street.
